WHAT IS CNPR CERTIFICATION?

The CNPR Certification or Certified National Pharmaceutical Representative is a credential that shows an individual has received comprehensive pharmaceutical sales training which is essential for reps to accurately and effectively communicate with healthcare providers as well as pharmaceutical prescribers. This vocational training focuses on assessing and supporting patients by providing physicians and other prescribers with the information they need to best prescribe the most effective product to an individual patient.  

HOW DO I GET CNPR CERTIFIED?

To get CNPR certified, you need to complete a course training through a recognized organization such as the National Association of Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives. Immediately upon passing your online course CNPR exam, you will immediately get your industry CNPR # which can be shown on your resume and to potential employers. A physical CNPR Certificate will also be mailed to each CNPR graduate.

WHAT JOBS CAN I GET WITH MY CNPR CERTIFICATION?

There are two industries where CNPR Certification is essential, pharmaceutical and biotech. Getting your CNPR Certification can be a huge leap forward in your career. In the healthcare industry especially, certification is not only widely recognized but often required for positions such as:

WHICH CNPR CERTIFICATION COURSE IS RIGHT FOR ME?

If you have been certified in the past the less expensive CNPR Examination is sufficient for you, even if you previously certified through a different organization or your certification has temporarily lapsed. If you are entry level and have no experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep you should elect for the full CNPR Certification course. You should only take your CNPR Certification training through the National Association of Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives.
